Plus I’ve scaled my own businesses which helped me take 6 months of self-paid maternity leave in 2021. And while that all sounds magical (which it is!), building my business was no walk in the park. In fact, when I launched my first eCommerce store in 2013, I had NO idea how to scale it to replace my full-time income.

From Breastfeeding to Book Publishing
I started a new business named Wolf Pup Creative after my late dog, Riley, who inspired me to create art. It was my constant desire to be around him that inspired me to start my own businesses so I could create my dream life working from home.
I've lived this dream life for the past 12 years and have had three different businesses. My latest inspiration for two illustrated children's books came around 3am feeding my newborn baby. It was a mash-up of multiple interests like the love of baking and reading... neither of which I could do much of because of the little baby.

It took 8 months total to go from beginning idea, hiring the illustrator, designing the books and launching the store. It was totally a passion project at first but as things started getting completed and launched I knew I wanted to share it more with the world.
So I decided to build a whole brand publishing company around the books to open up more income opportunities. Best of all I knew I had to share my knowledge with you on what I was doing behind-the-scenes to grow my business.
